HAND IN HAND TEGEN DE SPANNING: Winaar van de Klokhuis wetenschapsprijs!

Ons onderzoek "Hand in hand tegen de spanning" is de winaar van de Klokhuis Wetenschapsprijs 2026! 

Op spannende momenten grijpen mensen vaak iemands hand om angst te verminderen. Maakt het uit van wie die hand is? En kan een knuffelrobot ook helpen? Het team van Dutch Touch Society onderzoekt welke voorwaarden sociale aanraking het meest helpend maken: speelt de band met de ander een rol, werkt aanraking door een robot ook, en verschilt dit per persoon? De inzichten kunnen toegepast worden in de zorg, bijvoorbeeld om spanning te verminderen bij een tandartsbezoek.
